I can make no moral judgments about what people choose to do out of ignorance.
Igonrance is not illegal nor immoral.
I'm just a messenger, offering insight, hind-sight and fore-sight to those who want to avoid some of the trappings of life.

You're too young to realize you've been sudduced by the shiny rocks of life, but oneday you'll yearn for more than just the latest lights, bells and whistles.

In the abscense wisdom, we've created the "isms". (Capitalism; Communism; Socialism; etc.)

As far as your "work-out" analogy goes...
doing something to be healthier (working out) is not the same as doing things that make your body and mind unhealthy and yet, you believe (competing for success) capitalism makes you healthy?

History's grace has allowed separate countries economies to survive downturns but, other economies have bailed those countries out, right?
So, who will bail-out the global economy when there's not enough money flowing from top to bottom?

12 Step Programs have a word for when people repeat the same mistakes and expect different results.... close(-)

Hello forum members,

as you've probably noticed, my username is Kolt4JC which is an abreviation for "Kingdom Of Lights Travellers for Jesus Christ".

No, I am not a religious zealot nor do I ascribe to any particular religious doctrine however, I do believe Jesus had a clear and irrefutable understanding of humanity's ignorance of our common genetic and spiritual origin.

The lack of such understanding seems to certainly validate Dr. Bruce Lipton's "Biology of Belief", as well as account for much of the deadly acts against society, humanity and our own environment.

So, to reiterate my topic:

Are we, as social creatures, self-destructing through competition for wealth and geo-political control?

24 hour media headlines report economic, social and environmental declines all over the globe, as almost everyone tries to sustain and maintain their way; their lifestyle.

As scientist seek global awareness of how to heal the ozone, economists scramble to keep capitalism on life support.

Meanwhile, corporate scams and cover-ups continue to make their way into the light of day as communities are forced to protect and serve their own personal interests, leaving thy neighbor to fend for themselves.

Are we witnessing new reflections of the spirit of humanity or, have we simply become so frightened that we're losing sight of being compassionate souls?

Is it too late to get back to some basic, humane character traits?

I think the essence of humanity breathes the same "good" breath but some of us clearly struggle with thinking the same compassionate thoughts.

As a writer, these are just some of my thoughts about my people...I'd loved to know what you think?

By the way, "kingdom of lights travellers" is a concept I've coined, based on the theory that we are one energy and one consciousness, entangled and thus, individuated into many fragmented refractions.

Jesus' existence introduced a new paradigm that transcended religious sacrifice and dogma, with the notion of forgiving others for not knowing the severity of the harm they do to the whole of human consciousness.

"Restorative justice" is another term for such a concept and the long-term potential of introducing this wholistic paradigm is unfathomable, don't you think?
